Endorsement almost certainly exists here — nearly every board has some route for an already-licensed therapist — and AAMFT reports seven further states that reached the same streamlined position independently, without joining the initiative and under their own names. We do not know which seven. So the honest answer for Washington is that the route has to be confirmed with the board rather than assumed in either direction.

Start well before you need it. Where the board evaluates a file from scratch, the supervised-hours verification is usually what sets the pace, and it depends on people who no longer work with you.
Boards publish targets, not outcomes. We track the file and chase the third parties rather than quote you a number the board has not committed to.
Where Washington Applications Get Delayed
Reading "not on the Access MFTs list" as "no endorsement route". Seven states reached the same streamlined position independently and AAMFT does not name them; Washington may well be one.
Starting the application after accepting a role. Board queues are the long pole and they do not compress for a start date.
Supervised-hours documentation. It is the single most common gap, and it is the hardest to fix late — supervisors move, practices close, and a board wants the record in its own format.
Letting the license you already hold lapse or pick up an open complaint while an application is pending. Endorsement rests on it being in good standing.
